Instructions

How to Make Cilantro Lime Noodles

  • Start by bringing a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Cook rice noodles according to the package instructions until they're tender.
  • Once cooked, carefully drain the noodles and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the fresh lime juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  • Gently add the drained noodles to the bowl, tossing them with the lime sauce until every strand is coated evenly.
  • Stir in a generous handful of chopped cilantro, mixing it until it’s well distributed throughout the noodles.
  • Taste your creation and adjust with a pinch of salt if needed. Serve immediately, either warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Rinsing the noodles well is essential to prevent clumping. Adjust spice levels based on your preference and feel free to add vegetables or protein as desired.
