  • In a large bowl, using a fork or a potato masher, mash the overripe bananas until mostly smooth—don’t worry about small lumps; they add a delightful texture.
  • Stir in the melted butter, then add brown sugar and eggs one at a time, ensuring a smooth mixture before incorporating Greek yogurt and vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients, being careful not to overmix—stop when the flour is just incorporated.
  • Gently fold in most of the chocolate chips into the batter, saving a small handful to sprinkle on top for that extra touch of sweetness and visual appeal.
