  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce Soy sauce can be a flavorful substitute if needed.
  • 1 large Egg Optional; can omit for a keto-friendly option.

For the Cabbage Buns

  • 1 head Cabbage Cabbage holds its shape best.

For Topping

  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Consider vegan cheese for a dairy-free option.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Any neutral oil can also work.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the cabbage into thick rounds, about ½ inch, and brush both sides with olive oil.
  • Combine the ground meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and optional egg in a bowl.
  • Form patties from the meat mixture and press them onto the cabbage slices.
  • Arrange cabbage burgers on a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  • Bake for about 25 minutes until meat reaches 160°F (71°C) and cabbage wilts.
  • Remove from oven, sprinkle cheese on top, and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Serve garnished with fresh parsley and a fun dipping sauce.
