  • 4 oz Cured Meat (Salami or Pepperoni) can be swapped for roasted veggies
  • 1 cup Roasted Vegetables or Sweetened Cranberries elevates complexity
  • 1 medium Jalapeño adjust amount according to heat preference
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 0.5 cup Fresh Herbs or Nuts finely chopped for flavor

For Serving

  • 1 cup Dipping Sauces (Optional) like ranch or honey mustard

Instructions
 

How to Make Iowa Party Bites

  • Gather all ingredients including cream cheese, cured meats, roasted vegetables or cranberries, jalapeños, spices, and fresh herbs or nuts.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese with your chosen cured meat and either roasted vegetables or cranberries. Stir until smoothly blended and season with salt and pepper.
  • Finely chop jalapeños and mix them into the cream cheese mixture. Taste and adjust the spice level.
  • Shape the mixture into bite-sized portions and arrange on a serving platter, optionally sprinkling chopped herbs or nuts on top.
  • Wrap assembled bites tightly in plastic wrap or place in an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and 20 minutes.
  • Present chilled Iowa Party Bites on a platter just before serving. Best enjoyed cold or at room temperature.

Notes
