For the Cheese

  • 8 ounces Cheddar Cheese Can substitute with aged gouda.

  • 4 ounces Salami Can substitute with prosciutto.
  • 1 cup Pickles Cherry tomatoes or olives can be used.
  • Fresh Herbs (optional) Use parsley or basil for garnish.

  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, vinegar, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well-blended.
  • Gently toss in the cubed cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, ensuring every piece is coated with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes; for best results, let it rest for about 2 hours.
  • Artfully arrange the marinated cheese on a serving platter. Add salami and pickles around the cheese.
  • Sprinkle fresh herbs over the top for garnish. Serve this appetizer cold or at room temperature.
