  • 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds Can be replaced with flaxseeds.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Optional but recommended for extra depth.

Optional Additions

  • 1/2 cup Nuts or Seeds Can use any preferred variety for added texture.
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate or Nut Butter Drizzle over the bars for an added flavor boost after freezing.

Instructions

How to Make

  • Begin by mashing the ripe bananas in a large bowl until you achieve a smooth yet slightly chunky texture, capturing all that natural sweetness.
  • In the same bowl, combine the mashed bananas with Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, chia seeds, and a sprinkle of cinnamon; stir until the mixture is creamy and luscious.
  • Gently fold in the rolled oats and diced strawberries. Ensure everything is mixed well but be careful not to over-mix to keep the strawberry pieces intact.
  • Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal. Pour the mixture into the pan, smoothing the top with a spatula to create an even layer.
  • Place the dish in the freezer and allow it to chill for about 3-4 hours, or until the mixture is fully solidified and ready to cut into bars.
  • Once frozen, lift the mixture out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into bars or squares, whatever shape you prefer, and store them in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

Serve with a dollop of Greek yogurt on the side for an extra creamy touch! Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days if chilled, but freezing is recommended for long-term enjoyment.
