Ingredients
  

For the Chickpeas

  • 1 can Chickpeas Canned or cooked dried chickpeas
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can substitute with avocado oil

For the Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt Adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Maple syrup can be used as a vegan alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger Can substitute with ground cinnamon or nutmeg

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Spread the drained chickpeas on a baking sheet and bake for 6-8 minutes until dry.
  • Remove from oven, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt. Toss to coat.
  • Return chickpeas to the oven and roast for 10 minutes.
  • Shake the baking sheet and roast for an additional 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

Glazing

  • Mix together honey and ground ginger in a bowl.
  • Once chickpeas are roasted, drizzle ginger honey over them and toss to coat.
  • Return to the oven for another 6-8 minutes for caramelization.
  • Allow chickpeas to cool on the baking sheet and sprinkle with flaky salt before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. Reheat to restore crunch.
