How to Make Instant Pot French Dip Sandwiches

  • Place the boneless beef chuck roast on a trivet inside the Instant Pot. Generously sprinkle the seasoned salt, pepper, dried oregano, and dried rosemary over the meat.
  • Pour in the beef broth, ensuring the roast is well covered. Toss in the bay leaf and add the garlic clove.
  • Lock the lid in place and set your Instant Pot to pressure-cook on high for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • After the cooking time is up, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick-release the remaining pressure.
  • Remove the roast, check that it reaches 145°F, and shred the beef with two forks.
  • Discard the bay leaf and garlic. Pile the shredded beef onto slices of crusty French bread, topping with cheese if desired, and serve with au jus.

Notes
